
The Huddersfield based charity, West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust Limited, aims to raise funds to build and run a respite centre and hospice, in West Yorkshire, for children with life-limiting and life threatening illnesses. The hospice will provide specialist respite, emergency, palliative and terminal care in a child friendly family centred environment and support for parents and siblings.

The KidsCan Children’s Cancer Research Centre is working hard to cure the 1 in 650 children diagnosed with cancer in the UK each year. KidsCan is looking for better ways to treat childhood cancers so that children can be healthy when they reach adulthood and not be reminded of the dreadful illness they suffered from in childhood.

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance operates a lifesaving rapid response helicopter service across Yorkshire ensuring seriously injured persons are never more than an average 10 minutes away from hospital. Their highly skilled and experienced team can consist of 1 doctor, 2 paramedics and 1 pilot ready to respond at any one time, 365 days a year.
